A Fantastic Weekend
A Fantastic Weekend
I have really enjoyed this weekend. Saturday was spent with Friends in the glorious weather cycling around Chatsworth House in Derbyshire and cycling home afterwards which we all enjoyed very much indeed.
Learn by Showing
I also had a wonderful time helping a friend with her running style and in doing so I learned quite a lot myself too about how people perceive what you are saying and how they put their perceptions into action. I do think I managed to get the basics of efficient running across to her and it has given her confidence to persevere with the positive changes to her running style. I’m really pleased because this is another person I have managed to help steer in the direction of injury free running.
My Left Foot
My foot has been rather strange again. One minute I can hardly walk on it then all of a sudden there is no pain. I have even tried running when I cannot weight bear. Magically as soon as I start running the pain goes away and I feel nothing. I can run perfectly ok. This has to be nerve impingement somewhere I think. Not sure what the answer is though because rest doesn’t seem to have much effect on it. Maybe I’ll just train normally this week and see what happens then?
Off Roading
Today’s run was awesome, simply glorious, that is it really. White Peak and Froggatt Edge in Derbyshire. This weekend has made me fall in love with the Peak District all over again.
